Broadway Debut!
On December 28th 2023 I made my Broadway debut in @spamalotbway 🤩🥹 It was a wild 10 days- auditioning, getting cast that day, beginning rehearsals the next day, and debuting the next week. Through it all, my cast welcomed me with endearing words of encouragement, warm smiles, and genuine confidence in my abilities. I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful cast to have this momentous experience with. Thank you to everyone in my life who has supported me. Truly and deeply, I appreciate it more than words can do justice. ((And thank you to my family for watching my little one while i’m at work ❤️))
✨ I’m only in the show till Jan 14th!! If you can, come see this amazing cast! ✨

Teaching Artist
Exciting news! As of September 2023 I am now on faculty at The Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute, and a field instructor for NYU Tisch. At LSTFI I teach introduction to dance and anatomy of movement to first and second year NYU Tisch students. Working with these brilliant and dedicated pre-professionals has been an absolute joy!
Beginning in August 2021, I began teaching part-time at The Catholic University of America as a Lecturer of Dance.
I teach the Fundamentals of Tap, Adv Beginner Tap, and Intermediate Theatre Dance.
Teaching at my Alma Mater has been a great pleasure, and I am grateful for my supervisors understanding and supporting my acting career.

"As the fiery Anita, Olivia Ashley Reed makes the part truly her own. Reed's singing and dancing are superb as she leads the lady Sharks and their mates in "America." (By the way this production takes a cue from the 1961 movie having the men and women perform "America" as a battle of the sexes. In the original, Anita and the women perform the number without their male companions.)" |
